Catholic Schools Win National Award

Charlottesville Catholic School, Charlottesville, Virginia and St. Gregory the Great Catholic School, Virginia Beach, Virginia among 40 private schools in the country to be named National Blue Ribbon Schools of Excellence for 2023.

On Tuesday, September 19, 2023, U.S. Secretary of Education Miguel Cardona recognized 313 public schools and 40 private schools as National Blue Ribbon Schools for 2023. This is the third recognition for Charlottesville Catholic School who received the award in 2005 and 2014 and the second recognition for St. Gregory the Great Catholic School who received the award in 2007.
