Scholarship Tax Credits
Nearly 10 years into Virginia’s historic Education Improvement Scholarships Tax Credits program (EISTC), donors have made a Catholic education available to thousands of students in the Diocese of Richmond and received most of their money back in federal and Virginia tax savings.
For the 2021-22 school year, donors provided $5,700,000 in EISTC scholarships to 1,174 qualified students in JK-12 across the Diocese of Richmond. This transformational gifts make a difference in the lives of these students, their families, and our schools.

McMahon Parater Scholarship Foundation
The McMahon Parater Scholarship Foundation was established in 2008 to support and enhance the future of Catholic schools throughout the Diocese of Richmond primarily by providing tuition assistance, enhancing academic programs and resources, and increasing professional development opportunities for teachers.
